In a joyous announcement for the Kirat Rai community in America, the United Kirat Rai Organization of America (UKROA) has successfully completed the acquisition of the Sakela Than in Brimfield Town, Massachusetts, in January 2024. This sacred site, revered as a symbol of Kirat Rai culture and traditions, will now operate under UKROA’s ownership as a dedicated religious and cultural hub for the community. The purchase is expected to significantly contribute to preserving Kirat identity, the Mundhum scriptures, and the Sakela festival. The General Secretary of Kirat Rai Yayokha Macau has congratulated the initiative, emphasizing community unity. This achievement has instilled a fresh sense of enthusiasm and responsibility among Kirat Rai members residing in the United States.

अमेरिकामा रहेका किरात राई समुदायका लागि खुशीको खबर ! युनाइटेड किरात राई अर्गनाइजेसन अफ अमेरिका (यूकेआरओए) ले जनवरी २०२४ मा अमेरिकाको म्यासाचुसेट्स राज्यको ब्रिमफिल्ड टाउनमा रहेको साकेला थानको खरिद प्रक्रिया सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न गरेको छ। यो थान, जसलाई किरात राई संस्कृति र परम्पराको प्रतीक मानिन्छ, अब यूकेआरओएको स्वामित्वमा रहेर समुदायका लागि धार्मिक तथा सांस्कृतिक केन्द्रको रूपमा सञ्चालन हुनेछ। यस खरिदले किरात राईहरूको पहिचान, मुन्धुम र साकेला पर्व जोगाउन महत्त्वपूर्ण योगदान पुर्‍याउने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ। किरात राई यायोक्षा मकाउका महासचिवले पनि यो प्रयासको बधाई दिँदै समुदायिक एकताको सन्देश दिएका छन्। यो उपलब्धिले अमेरिकामा बसोबास गर्ने किरात राईहरूमा नयाँ उत्साह र जिम्मेवारीको भावना जगाएको छ।
